Three buildings under construction side by side at blue hour: foundation formwork, a steel frame, and a partly clad building

The venture studio for the built environment.

A construction technology venture studio.

The problem

The industry that builds everything runs on almost nothing digital

A systems problem, not a skills problem.

Construction has spent two decades underinvesting in the systems around its own work. Estimates still live in spreadsheets email can't track. Field data collected on a clipboard rarely makes it back into the model it should have updated. Most of the software on a jobsite was built for a different industry first and adapted onto construction after the fact, not built from inside one.

Software sold from outside the work asks a crew to change how they operate for a tool that doesn't know the job -- and adoption fails whenever the crew has to adapt to the tool, when the tool should adapt to the workflow it serves.

The evidence

The gap, in numbers

Two published figures explain why the industry hasn't caught up yet.

The approach

Built from inside the work, not sold from outside it

Shaped by the workflow it has to survive, not by what looks good in a demo.

LuhTech's answer starts on the jobsite, not in a sales conversation. Every company in the portfolio is designed to meet the crew's workflow early -- the tool gets shaped by the work it has to survive.

A shared, schema-first substrate runs under every company in the portfolio, so what one learns building for its part of the industry becomes infrastructure the next one starts from, not a lesson relearned from zero. That's what a venture studio built for adoption looks like next to a vendor selling into it.

Who LuhTech is for

Founders
Build the company itself with us -- product, team, and first customers, starting from a real, specific problem in construction, not a market thesis in search of a wedge.
Construction companies & partners
A venture in the portfolio designed around the crew's workflow from the start, on a shared substrate that gets more capable as the studio grows.

Where LuhTech is today

LuhTech is an active venture studio: nine ventures are live and public today, each building toward its own customers on the shared substrate described above.
